“The Late Show with David Letterman” is a tough place to get autographs. So far, TopPix Autographs has done remarkably well in 2009 and felt it was time to prepare a Letterman-style Top Ten list of our own!
Top Ten 2009 “Late Show” Autographs
10. Disgraced Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich. Why was he even signing autographs? Who knows…? But we did get him to sign…basically because we can never let an autograph opportunity pass us by!
9. Former New York Yankees manager and current Los Angeles Dodgers manager, Joe Torre. Although New Yorkers have strong feelings regarding Torre, he was kind enough to sign after his appearance on the show.
8. Super Bowl XLIII Champion and Pittsburgh Steeler, Ben Roethlisberger didn’t sign much after his appearance, but somehow TopPix Autographs was in the right spot and snagged one of Ben’s squiggles.
7. Billy Crystal comes in at #7. Billy was nice and gives a fantastic autograph. We love Billy!
6. Star of Pink Panther 2, Steve Martin was a pleasure as he stopped and signed for quite awhile for us. We especially loves Steve’s hat!
5. Kate Hudson braved the cold weather in a teeny-tiny dress when she signed following her segment.
4. Spanish seductress, Salma Hayek, was quite picky about what she signed, but eventually we were able to present a photo or two that met Salma’s standards.
3. Growing up before our eyes is not-so-little Dakota Fanning. Dakota was a dream as she made sure everyone got an autograph. This young lady is an example for all young stars around. Always gracious and kind!
2. The #2 spot goes to one of Hollywood’s greats…Dustin Hoffman. Dustin was a delight…even ignoring his pushy publicist who kept telling everyone that Dustin was doing his “last one!” We have to love a man who ignores his publicist!
1. And the #1 autograph obtained at “The Late Show with David Letterman” goes to….KATE WINSLET!! Kate is this year’s golden girl, winning just about every award that comes her way. We would have to agree with most of the movie world, because we adored both of Kate’s award-winning movies, The Reader and Revolutionary Road.
